Additional advice for New Cub Scout Parents?
- Read your son's manual. Really, it helps!
- Volunteer. It's fun and your son will love having you there.
- Take the Youth Protection training online. It's recommended for leaders and parents, it's free, and it only takes 20 minutes.
- Moms - dress for pack nights knowing you may be "pinned". Layers or cardigans make it easier for your son to get it attached.
- Ask questions.
- Enjoy these years, they really go by too quickly!
