BSA Training Initiative

To better understand the required trainings for your “Registered” position in the Pack, Troop, Team, Crew or Post, here is a complete list by position. Courses marked with (*) are available on-line at myscouting.org. Creating an account is free. After you log in, click on the E-learning link in the column to the left.

Please note, Youth Protection training MUST be completed as soon as possible, preferably within a few weeks of having been called. Training takes approximately 20 minutes.

Parents of scouts are also encouraged to complete the Youth Protection training course.
